Across two short-films, one fantasy novel and an online text-game, a narrative Universe is introduced to an international genre-audience. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, this wild mix of Adventure, Fantasy, Horror & Sci-Fi ends up as a playful nostalgic contribution to ‘weird-fiction’.
While the Part I short-film, ‘The Mad Weather Incident’ serves as a brief Prologue, the Part II Novel, ‘A Weapon of Adventurous Entertainment’ carries the initial heart and narrative weight of this Trilogy. Concluded by Part III - ‘The Rise of Paperboy’. A 10 min. short-film as the story’s Epilogue.
PART I - 'THE MAD WEATHER INCIDENT'

In midst a strange weather phenomenon in Ireland 1985, Part I follows the aftermath of a plane crash and the arrival of mysterious cargo boxes.
PART II - 'A WEAPON OF ADVENTUROUS ENTERTAINMENT'
…an interactive epistolary novel with 35 graphic print clues as the Trilogy’s heart.
Part II Novel favours 7 year old orphan Codie ‘Paperboy’ Basket, who joins the ominous and mysterious ‘Can Society’ in 1885. After unlocking an old mysterious cargo box, we follow CP. Basket getting to know this secret community of Paranormal Investigators, Monster-Hunters, Tomb-Raiders and Scientists, who protect mankind from supernatural threats.
In search of his real mother, CP. Basket rises to become one of their ‘shotcallers’, eventually leading this quirky konservative Society into the modern age of the 70s. Where traditional monster hunting is being replaced by broadcasting supernatural entertainment to the masses. But, when rumours spread that CP. Basket might be the initiator of an apocalyptic future, the glorious Wunderkind suddenly becomes infamous and notorious.
With the Can Society members not growing older and across several centuries, we witness playful adventure, horror, fantasy & sci-fi tales. Kicking off around 1600 and making it to 1985, we take a detour into an apocalyptic future, before everything finds an open end in an alternate past of 1974…
An activity which doesn’t get unnoticed. ‘Cause when the three kids Donal, Fiona and Scott come across a strange novel inside a mysterious cargo box, the entire history of the Can Society is revealed to them.
PART II - 'THE RISE OF PAPERBOY'

Part III reveals how CP. Basket made first contact with the Can Society in 1885, when unlocking a mysterious cargo box, which got pulled from the ocean.
